By Rail - The nearest railway station for Bordi is Gholvad. It is the immediate station after Dahanu Road. One could take a train from Mumbai Central or even from Borivali. From Gholvad it is only 2 kms. Plenty of auto rickshaws are available. Ask them to take you to Tapovan Retreat at Vijay Stumbh.

By Road - From the Bandra Flyover in Mumbai the distance is about 140 kms approx. Just take N.H. # 8 from Bandra and proceed through Dahisar and pass Manor to reach the intersection at Charoti. At this intersection, you turn left and proceed to Dahanu. You then cross the Railway Flyover at Dahanu and turn left and reach Par Naka. From Par Naka you turn right and take the sea front road which will take you straight to Bordi via Gholvad. Enjoy the picturesque drive to Bordi. The smell of the sea and it's taste on your lips makes you immediately want to get out and go for a long walk along the beach.

Tapovan Retreat is located opposite the Vijay Stumbh at Bordi.
